The promise that remains

Twilight's soft veil descends upon the earth,
And in its shadows, sacred whispers birth;
The heart's lotus blooms, its petals unfurl'd,
Drinking the nectar of a Whispered Promise curl'd.

Oh, fleeting hour, when day's last sigh doth fade,
And night's dark veil, the soul's deep passions shade;
The fire within, a burning flame doth rise,
Guiding us through life's labyrinthine, winding guise.

Shall we find solace in love's gentle might?
Or shall we search, through endless, sleepless night?
Oh, twilight's mystic voice, what secrets tell,
Of heart and soul, and the Whispered Promise to compel?

Thy whispers, heart, what tender vows reveal,
In thy deep chambers, what loving mysteries conceal?
And thou, Whispered Promise, sacred echo of old,
What hidden meanings in thy depths doth unfold?

Twilight's soft veil descends upon the earth,
And in its shadows, sacred whispers birth.
