The Prism

My mind feels caged solitary confinement whats the
definition of a true Christian somebody help me define it,
Im feeling so lukewarm I need to be refined, put me in
that firery furnace its only one way to see if can take the
heat I say my faith is impeccable but do I really wanna
leap,
this prism...inside here there's a war going on, I'm a child
of warfare born on the battlefeild, first thing my father
gave me a shield & a sword, oh Lord I need that strength
I got! Just haven't tapped into it fully, this gravitional pull
call sin is constantly pulling me into this black hole which
is the world, my emotions are starting to unfold. Im
addicted to self addicted to flesh get me a straight jacket
so I can't do this anymore to myself, you're my breath of
life so breathe on me one more time, I'm a lost soul out
here Lord throw me a life line
