The Princess Without the Prince
The princess lived without the prince,
He had left her and her friends.
He wished to pursue his career,
Somehow she understood.
When she divorced her husband,
She was on her own again.
Her prince was younger than she,
Their friendship endured.
What is friendship,
God inspired, keeps you from being lonely.
Days without him and she would be sad,
She has the beautiful memories of the friendship they shared.
A step from wishing to marry him,
She loved his tall and handsome figure.
She wished to say she loved him,
They were just friends.
Going on without him would be difficult,
God would continue to guide her and she would make new friends.
