Notes About The Poem

The Primrose Path

You won't lead me down the primrose path
I refuse to be your benighted minion
So shove your beautifully woven tapestry of lies
You won't lead me down the primrose path
'Tis an aesthetically looking road to perdition
God is the way; the route to the highest of highs
You won't lead me down the primrose path
I refuse to be your benighted minion

Whether the ruby red lips of the painted woman or the alluring look of the road to riches, the Right of Refusal is ours!! Nicely done (and appreciated), Edward. Peace and Joy, Gershon
