The Price of a Dream
What would it cost
to follow your dreams
when nothing seems to go well
and difficulties hold you back?
Would you give it up
forgetting all it meant
and lock it in the box of past regrets?
Should it resurface
at some future date
when prospects change and seem more promising
would you take a chance to seek it again?
Could you put it aside
if it doesn't seem achievable
or would it prey upon your mind and heart?
What is the price of a dream?
Deep in your heart, it waits,
wanting, needing your input
What is the price of your dream?
