The Present

Since we met you're the one who has had my attention, the dating world is so suspenseful but you made it easier for me to open up and give up what everyone is fighting to keep. I believe the love we share runs deep yet we never said it, you're the one I thought was too good for me, even if I looked myself in the mirror I still wouldn't envision what you see. God blessed me right with you, I needed someone who would show me I wasn't the only one who still believed in giving their all, stepping out on faith and lucky me right when I look in your eyes all I see is how gracious God has been to me, so I still seek him about us, the future and the present, in an instant he could separate us in a matter of seconds. So I'm thankful for the good but I look forward to the bad, truth is I never really had someone worth enduring those times, so I don't take what we have for granted you are truly my early Christmas gift.
