The Predator

a red-tailed hawk

swoops down to snatch its prey --

                                                          a tiny dog barks.

I lived for many years with a nesting pair of Red-tail in my yard and this is a Most pleasant reminder of some great times. Thank you. - Chuck

Many a bird of Prey will await and take their opportunities to survive. Us humans will do this, for the sake of it. This act, lowers us down the species list, where we belong. <*> Images of reality emit strongly in this short poetic piece Kim, many congratulations are in order. Have a most lovely weekend :) xx

It is fun to see all these "moment's captured by haiku. Was the tiny dog the prey? or was he just barking at what was happening?
