The Prayer of the Moon

Lord the light that you give
Is the same light they receive
In the evening while most are sleeping
I'm in the sea of clouds peeping..

And when given the chance
At a weary soul I take a glance
Wondering how did I know
How a broken spirit like his flow..

I look at my reflection at the sea
I have shadows hidden behind me
A part of me the warmth doesn't reach
Is same as the darkness he can't ditch.

Hear my sigh up in the sky
I feel You there Lord most high
Turn his sorrows into smiles
This I pray in between the miles.
