The Power of This Moment
Like took a dramatic turn when I realized
The power of living in the current moment.
Each moment presents itself as an opportunity,
To work towards my goal and fulfil my life's role.
I am making an honest attemp to live each moment in full,
For relinquishing the moment's power results in its cull.
And that's something to mull cause I don't want a life of lull;
Where everything around is a dreary dull.
The key to success in the present,
Is to let go of the pangs of the past,
Halting all hallucinations of a hidden future;
Foçusing on the reality and wealth of this moment.
Happiness is not a big bang one off event,
But those small cherished moments each day,
That slowly but steadily accumulate and add on,
That ultimately results in a fulfilled life.
Every experience is a step taken forward to grow.
So if things don't go your way best not to go slow,
Continue to give it your all and let your energy flow,
For you never never know when things will turn around and glow.
