The Power of Silence

Words are powerful I must agree
Though when I walk into an empty house
The silence pummels, I must leave
Echoing across my marrow
Quiet solitude erupts
Feverished and clammy
Silent disease is catching
From one dropped word to word
Chasm of separation
Blast me to the moon
Leave the peace, foraging on 
Separation in silence.
