The Power of Love (Part 1)

The First Day
(A day, beyond time and space, can be a thousand years, a thousand years can be a day)

Bursting energy
Blown throughout the universe
Myriads of galaxies, charged
By solar power.
The power of love
That gives and gives and forget
What it has given.
The Force that creates
A world so incredible
That answers to just one law
The logic of love.
And the first dawn rose
Over vast oceans so blue
Life evolving brew.

Incredible, Caroline! You vision of the first day is vivid and I love the spiritual quality -- answering only to "The logic of love." Science and spirituality can mix quite nicely; this poem is proof. Love, Carolyn
