The Power of Love

I'm worlds apart from you, sweetheart
my step is slow;  I've lost my glow
an empty bed;  my heart is shred
my yearning strong, a mournful song


 I LOVE YOU 


I'm happy now, though misty-eyed
distance despite, we're side-by-side
no more I walk;  I'm prone to glide
tho' lone, I sense you by my side

My tread is sure, just short of flight
my heart once heavy feather-light
emotions soar, free-flap my wings
I'm scarce of speech; instead I sing
