"In a world, with wearisome pace of life,
A gentle act, with the milk of kindness,
Holds huge power to soften strains of strife,
Usher around, the warm feel of goodness." By Author

The Power of Kindness
A soft shining smile, a light tender touch,
An act of kindness, does not cost so much,
Yet it wields the glow of vibrant power,
It can change a cheerless life in an hour;
Like seeds carried by birds, blown by the breeze,
Kindness slowly grows into leafy trees;
It blooms in gentle hearts, a fragrant hue,
Transforming the world to a better view.
For a lonely soul, quivering with fear,
A kind tap on the back dispels the tear;
Heavy burden of old age, hard to bear,
Kind hands relieve the heavy load to share.
Fiery feels flowing from an angry face,
Kindness softens them with its serene grace,
Perceives milk of goodness in every soul
Beneath the surface till the day is curled;
A short-tempered neighbour, snappy and stern,
Kindness offers them a lesson to learn;
A gentle friendly greeting, warm and true,
Can melt the ice and see them warming through.
Kindness lies in the laughter of a child,
That makes the day shine and the spirit mild;
It resides in the comfort of a friend,
That with flight of time, helps our wounds to mend.
Simple acts of kindness, a thoughtful deed,
Can elevate a fallen soul , indeed;
Kind deeds can restore life to starving men
And sprinkle divine grace across the land.
Kind words can help broken homes to repair,
Save folks from hanging on ropes of despair;
Restore flames of faith in desperate souls
Usher light in their lives and make them whole;
Kindness of one soul cannot change the world
But kind souls together, can change unfurl,
From kindness emanates a mighty force,
That can transform events and the world`s course.
Kindness travels across space, far and wide,
A gentle current that flows like the tide.
It washes over the untidy shore,
Leaving to the eye, beauty to explore;
So, let our heart`s bright gate be open wide,
Let light of kindness be our guiding tide,
Let us spread seeds of kindness, far and near,
Dispel clouds of sadness, dry woeful tears;
As the world will get what it does deserve,
Let kindness as a powerful tool serve
To usher in a future, bright and bold,
A story of kindness, to be retold.
