The Power of Innocence

Little hands, little toes
Soft as the colors in the rose,
Beautiful as grace on the life
Heart so true, healing worst strife

Little hands, little toes
Gentle smiles, trust grows
Whisper of joy in each embrace
Inspirations, blessings, precious grace

Little hands, little toes
Only God truly knows
When you were born, your light
Brought me hope through darkest night

Little hands, little toes
Oh, sweet baby, innocence shows
In the breath of a summer ray,
Sunshine praises in the light of day

Little hands, little toes
Oh, the joy, God’s sweet prose
Writing psalms on the smallest soul
Making sure we are blessed and whole

Little hands, little toes
The power of innocence, never appose
When I see this babe, resting in my arms
I know the innocent love that forever charms
