The Power.

That power in me to heal the sick, To drive away all evil tricks, To satisfy the world its need, To abolish hate and cast out greed, To love then all this earth as should, And force the powers that be, to good, To reign upon all they declare, That not the me but all to share, That time in all and children’s fate, Be a rain bowed world at heavens own gate, This power than given in all to me, That those who blind May so then see! To wars declared no soul shall die, To understand the reasons why? Of mans own fate I would command, But power as this in a distant land, For not just one of human breed, Could ever so this power succeed! That fates of men to his command? Ti's men themselves must understand.
