The Potter

How does one build their own world?
Where one can dance and frolic, skip and twirl
From imagination to reality can be a treacherous road
But with ease on this path, your seeds of creation are sowed
From your your fingers, like roots, your image is grown
But for your ideas to be sculpted your thoughts must be thrown
Upon your wheel to steer you home
From the first rays of dawn to the dusk of gloam
From the earth it's structure and the water it's bond
The final product, oh so fair and fond
The air feeds the fire that seals its permanence
Engraved with your waves of exquisite ornateness
The beauty you've birthed, unparalleled only to yours
A testimony to how high your talent can sore
But once you have finished sculpting your world
You must begin on a universe where it can be your pearl
