The Portrait of a Friend
My friend, kind and calm,
Knowing right from wrong,
A smile or a frown, simply nice to be around,
A knight who blesses and is a delight,
Someone i like and come to know,
Friends are important to pass the day,
This friend might be going my way,
Learning to love and befriend again,
Then you just love being together,
Come rain or shine, simply divine,
Maybe your lives rhyme with time
Years of looking for that someone,
Near or far, God's plan divine,
A friendship to be guided by God.
