The Polygamous Wife

Blood Atonement
For the polygamous wife, who no longer sees
As the sister wives want her to believe.
No longer wanted to do
the wrong she was born into.

Escape from this man, and his 30 wives
running and running for her life.
The Prophet says to
"Kill! Tis God's will...
He talks to me and only me!"

Her arrangement was for polygamy
She dropped to her knees
Praying to God-" Oh Please!"
She was only Sixteen.

Blood Atonement
now she will die
for refusing to be his
31st wife.

* This is a sick but true story.

Excellently covered Amy. Why in this modern world this type of suppression still exists. I can understand some indigenous tribes in the deep jungles may still carry this in their histories. But modern man, it's time for them to grow up and get real > have a lovely weekend >> James
