The Poison of Love

I walked within a garden’s grace, Where roses bloomed in soft embrace. Orchids whispered scents so sweet, Your gentle smile made life complete. Alone within a silent space, Your face appeared—a fleeting trace. By day, by night, you filled my mind, A rarest echo, hard to find. I cast my words like frozen glass, That barely broke the quiet mass. Your voice—a current, soft and deep, Unraveled what I’d sworn to keep. Entwined within a tangled thread, No sound escaped what went unsaid. You sought the truths I could not show— Yet in the dark, I wished to go. From secrets kept and shadows drawn, Only we know what’s gone beyond. Within the hush, our bond remains— A silent pulse that still sustains.

regrets are hard to accept....just as some secrets are better kept....I wish I had a secret by the name of you....and that is simply because Beauty has followed through....;)
