The Poet's Chore
The poet's chore, to pump out rhyme
Until the bucket overflows.
No doubt his mind works overtime.
The poet's chore, to pump out rhyme.
He's never paid a single dime.
His socks have holes for ev'ry toe.
The poet's chore, to pump out rhyme
Until the bucket overflows.
