Karen Da Poet Rhyme

The Poet I Am

When I am in pain, I am a writer, 
I'm not more of a fighter. 
I always become a poet, 
Especially when I am upset. 

When my heart is singing, 
I then begin penning. 
My happiness dictates the words 
So my poems seem to have some chords. 

I am just an ordinary poet, 
Someone who writes her frets. 
I also put my joys in history 
And make my life a happy story.
