The Plight

Grists of bitterness to the mill of oblivion
Are unmercilessly added ..
But learn, O friend, to forgive ..
For those around you have nothing to perceive ..
And what is more is worse:
Defeated, indeed, they have turned ..
Then, the few of us whose hearts are filled ..
Are further by conscience defeated ..
Learn, O friend, to forgive and forgive ..
Purify and beautify your soul
To resume the journey of good souls ..
It is not late now to stand up again and buckle ..
Towards the secret garden of eternal love, truth and beauty.
