The Planet
The Planet *
Twinkle twinkle little planet
bluely liquid, gas and granite
seen below skied hemisphere
for my wonderment to revere
Enlightenment makes me scintillate
neurons spark to discriminate
I long to know, to understand
what makes it work since time began
When visions wonderment's have gone,
when sight fades, to gaze upon
amazing things to mind ignite
my admiration and delight
Then closed is mind, and inquiry
I've seen all I want to see
I'll know all I want to know
to know no more, 'cause I say so
But, don't be angry, don't be sad
because I close, is not that bad,
for you continue to see anew
universal time we travel through
So, twinkle twinkle little planet
we won't close our minds god dammit
we'll scan upon skied hemisphere
with wonderment continuing to revere
