The Place the Sun Can'T Reach
Let loneliness wash over me,
Familiar plains I wish to see
The tides of distance swirling round
Engulfing all without a sound.
To hear that voice I know so well
Without a blink into the swell
I’d dive so deeply swimming fast
Disturb the sand release my past.
On and on into the deep
To find the place the sun can’t reach
This corner only darkness knows
Amidst the shipwrecks, golden pearls
Here shall I find suspended past
Or happiness to ever last?
When my breath runs short then out
I won’t regret resist or shout
Instead I’ll let myself descend
The blackened waters life shall end.
When the sparkle from my eye
Slowly fades then seems to die
A smile will spread across my face
I've found my home this darkened place
