The Picture

Pictures speaks a thousand words
With the joy that they instill
A world of frozen memories
The day that time stood still

A moment in time held captive
And framed for all to see
A pose that's not forgotten
That will last eternally

Nothing but ink and paper
It's image forever cast
Little pieces of history
The present becomes the past

It takes you to that moment
That only you have seen
A picture's more than a thousand words
It's a virtual time machine

Great write in this one..A picture well taken or one that did not intend to be taken or taken in a certain way can convey many thoughts, emotions, and ideas...Glad that you wrote one on this topic..Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara

Love it Larry - There is something evocative about pictures - Black and white ones even more so - Thanks for a great share -:)
