The Piano
The Piano,
breath taker, truth shaker, peacemaker.
Notes tickled by yearning fingers, declaring,
all sides of life, flat and sharp, daring,
with black and white keys pairing,
bringing together whatever is tearing,
harmoniously uniting, alluring and sharing,
all the rhapsodies joyful and despairing
in one whole universal bearing.
