The Phone Call
Is it normal to get hurt by a phone call?
Ever since I was in school, I have longed for a phone.
Extra time bought me my own.
Fun it was, more of a show off!
Brother warned me not to take off.
Messages it lead to not so good,
For there I even forgot the food.
To expectations and patience I lost,
I once was more of a Pentecost.
Lead to pain,
So much of me in vain!
As grown as I am now,
I want to get rid of – but how?
For it only hurts, being ignored.
I have it for him and he is bored!
Even if by mistake he receives,
States “oh **** I received”
It pokes with in as it bleeds
It doesn’t matter his way he speeds!
