The Phone Call

Hello darlin' I know It's late I hope I didn't wake you But I'm aching and I can't wait I want to let you know I still love you Every time I try to tell you The words come out all wrong So I'm calling to tell you You've been gone to long I know this is a bad time But darlin' I don't want nobody knew I know you said I wasn't worth a dime But darlin' I still need you So if you think there's a chance Could you call me tomorrow I thought we'd share a little romance To rid us of our sorrow Well darlin' I'll hang up now I hope you still love me 'Cause darlin' I need you now Oh how can I make you see Well thanks for listening Let me know what to do I'll be here waiting Goodbye darlin', I love you
