The Petals That I Know

Do I smell the perfume of the roses that grow
Or revel in my coloured Haze
What delights I find here amongst the petals that I know

I find a four leaf clover so
A thorny rosebush can produce a crop to amaze
Do I smell the perfume of the roses that grow

Heavenly scent mystery's that show
Amongst your garden in a daze
What delights I find here amongst the petals that I know

Anytime you want to pick or grow
Pick up your hoe, mend your ways
Smell the sweet nectar and honey that blow

Do you come to where the sweet flowers sow
So as above So Below she says
What delights I find here amongst the petals that I know
Do I smell the perfume of the roses that grow

This thick and smooth rose, blood red, blooming with soft confidence to be read, perfuming into the pulse of her suiter, seducing without a trace of weakness...your poem brought this poetry from me Gail...J.A.B.
