The Personable Mom
she was the prettiest woman in the room
dressed in a faerie costume
one of the few moms to do that on Halloween
her children were excited that she was there
she was personable, friendly and fun
we were all attracted to her personality
she became the head of the PTA
organized the school store
did things for all of us
She wanted to develop friendships
But most of us were too busy to have coffee or lunch
She was a stay at home mom, who eventually moved away
I sometimes think of her and wish I had gone to coffee
she was so much fun, but I had not made much time for her
I regret that now
