The person that I want to be

I want to be myself again happy-go-lucky the always smiling always positive person who let things roll off her shoulders who didn't think of negativity but always seen the positive In everybody she met I want to learn how to trust again without people taking advantage and being the one hurt I want to enjoy life enjoy the time I have left with my kids watching them grow and graduate I want to think for myself instead of people telling me what I should or shouldn't do I want my Independence back my freedom I want to be myself again

Congratulations on your win. What a powerful write. I did enjoyed reading it. Life/people can be very hard. Great Ending... People/friends/family can be very hurtful. I do Not let them hurt me any more. I call them out. I want my power back Not their power over me. Many years ago, I was given a small plate with "Life Is Fragile. Handle With Prayer" written on it. Powerful Words To live By. Hugs... Have a wonderful day/weekend writing away.....................

Thank you. I have been hurt too many times. Sometimes I think I should be single so I don't have to deal with a lot on my plate! Life is fragile and should never be taken for granted.
