The person I used to be

It no longer worries me who i used to be, or want to be, I'm content with who I've become. Having made many mistakes along the way, I learned from each and every one. I have no regrets on things I couldn't control for these things are of little concern. The only things I'd change in my life, were those bridges, I should have crossed, but foolishly burned.

Brother John, we’ve all burned bridges and made mistakes throughout life, but hopefully in our old age we get things right…. Sis Beryl

your lines 'The only things I'd change in my life, were those bridges, I should have crossed, but foolishly burned' triggered a different line of thought in my mind dear poet. anger, jealousy and such likes are the ornate inviting bridges that we should never cross but burn them. amazing write, honest lines. +FAV. Happy writing dear poet. ~ thriveni
