The Persecuted Church

Since the Church's earliest days persecution has been their lot this is promised in scripture as holy living is taught Jesus said to take up thy cross to follow Him this had to be for many in His day followed Him then did flee The saviour also said the destruction gate is wide many will follow it for few will be on His side His gate will be narrow hard it'll be to stay on the road to heaven's gate and stay on the true way Many have given their lives for the sake of righteousness God is worth the price for His own He will bless Whatever the road we take the Lord has gone before pointing the way ahead showing us His open door But God's people are persecuted till comes the moment when the Lord will appear to remove them from earthly tent poetgord@2013
