The Perfection You Never Had
I am the beautiful soul kept in the dark
I am the spark of honesty
I am the treasure of piety
I am the truth of all, rejected by most
I do not take pride, nor do I boast
I am a man seeking to purify himself
I am a woman seeking to beautify herself
I am the man feeding the poor
I am the hero fighting your war
I am the essence of charity
I am the peace following verity
I am the ultimate sacrifice
I am the love which will suffice
I am the tear of remembrance flowing down your face
I have no color, no gender, and no race
I am the way of life you wanted to embrace
I am everything you never were.
