The Perfect World
I am gonna write a poem - one that would shock ya
Shocked me - made a believer out of me
I never did believe in dreams
Because I thought God could never make it come true
Because what I thought was a perfect world
With a perfect make up
Where I can effectively change things
Ordered them to the ways I want it
To make them arrive at its beautiful points
And dutifully lined up in their perfect place
What I thought was a perfect dream
How else would you call it?
I am an idealist
What I thought for you is more than what you thought for you
I want to see you in your whole picture
Full of ardor full of strength
Want to see you capable
Of handling your own material world
And your own thought world
I want to see you in perfection - another word
I thought it will never come true
Never will I see ones love each other
Never will I be able to control it
Where I can cause them to love one another
Because I had caused them to believe
I thought my ideal was too much for God to handle
That He would never fulfill it
Because it was too much of a dreamer
But God fulfilled it tonight
I can make you love someone
Can make you dance
Can make you sing
Can make you start to believe
Because I believe
God has taken an unbeliever
And in one split second grant it
What do I do with you?
You will see
I will make a believer out of you
Because I can haha
Good luck and good night
