The Perfect Guy

He would stay beside me
And call me Baby

But also hold my hand
And through my problems he’d withstand

He’d kiss me softly
And say things that were so corny

He’d call me beautiful instead of hot
Because he knew that meant a lot

He’d lend me his jacket if I’m cold
Then snuggle close with our hands in a stronghold
He shouldn’t believe what other people are told

The late night calls
How you and I would fall…

So deeply in love
I thank heaven above

To have you
To say I love you too

You’re the Perfect Guy
I’m not going to lie.
