The Perfect Dog
He is a lot spoiled and slightly rude
grouchy, bossy and sometimes crude
He loves to bark must be heard
if barking is talking he gets the last word
He's cute and cuddly and stubbornly defiant
He thinks of himself a little giant
He likes me and no other
jealous and possessive his affection smothers
He guards his domain by yapping loud
and for this he is so proud
He's playful and cheerful while sly and coy
lights up my world with much joy
The perfect dog he just happens to be
Genghis is a lot like me.
