The Perfect All Occasion Poem

The Perfect All Occasion Poem
By Franklin Price

My nephew made a challenge
An all occasion poem to pen
I never will accomplish it
If now I don't begin

For the occasion that you're reading this
Be it a valley or a crest
When tomorrow comes my wish for you
Is that the outcome was the best

For what is happening today
I pray that you receive
The strength and happiness I feel
In the way that I believe

My choice is to believe in God
Maybe not the God or Gods you do
My God always has his reasons
And will always pull me through

He knew I was a sinful one
He knows everything you see
So he sent his only son to earth
To pave Heaven's road for me

Believing my God did this
Let his son die on that hill
Then I'll see his face in Heaven
When I die I know I will

Hope your beliefs are there for you
On them you can depend
To help you through this life you live
With good things at the end

The perfect all occasion poem
I've think I've written here
I hope you'll find that I'm correct
And have made my thoughts quite clear

Very nice, Franklin. Believing in God is good for any occasion.;) and I agree with everything except for one point.
