The Penny Drops
Sometimes we’re searching for answers
To questions on our mind
Not really sure what we’re looking for
That turns into a question of time
We’re covering the same old ground
Over and over again
Never seeing anything different
When will this searching end
Then all of a sudden the penny drops
Click, everything falls into place
Piece by piece the puzzle completes
And we stand there quietly amazed
We're blind sometimes to the signs
That stare us in the face
Answers lie in front of our eyes
But we miss them along the way
Then all of a sudden the penny drops
Click, everything falls into place
Piece by piece the puzzle completes
And we stand there quietly amazed
Bridge
How could it of been so easy
The answer was there all the time
I didn’t see the simplicity
All this time my eyes were blind
Then all of a sudden the penny drops
Click, everything falls into place
Piece by piece the puzzle completes
And we stand there quietly amazed
We must have passed it several times
Reading through the same old lines
No it didn’t even cross our mind
The missing link that we would find
Then all of a sudden the penny drops
Click, everything falls into place
