The Peace of God
Peace of mind, peace of heart-
Is peace the brings life, giving it a brand new start.
Peace as calm as the gentle breeze that blows
Peace that's free as the ocean flows-
Bringing with it the absence ot war, the absence of fear
A virtue every believer in God holds dear.
Peace with God, peace with man
Peace that's strong and helps us to stand
solid, undisturbed in thought by life's circumstance
So very precious, it can not be bought for-
It is the absence of chaos, confusion and stress
A value that leads to true happiness.
Peace without, peace within-
knowing that salvation has drawn us from our sin.
Peace that sustains and endures-
Is the peace that All Mighty God ensures.
Peace brings patience, perseverance and praise
Ever-lasting, eternal throughout the age-
Assurance in abundance, granted by God above with
Courage, given by His Spirit of Love with-
Enduring power through eternity.
Peace, peace, peace of God-
Surpassing all understanding;
Peace here and now and peace forevermore.
