The Path of Life

The Path Of Life

The path of life is crowded
With overgrown foliage
Tree limbs stretch across the opening

Rays of sunlight
Peek through the branches
Casting shadows in the distance

Grass grows between the patches
Of a much used right-of-way
An occasional four-leaf-clover can be spotted

The journey down this path is long
Complicated with narrow and steep terrain
One must stay focused to not get lost

Yet at journeys end
Rewards will be handed out
To those to finished faithfully
