The Path of Compassion

People walking by in the blink of an eye.

I can admit doing the same, it's now my own

shame, only I'm to blame. Not bothering

all those times, just passing by in my

quick strides. As if stopping and talking

would infect me, as if she were a disease.

I still don't know her name but God knows

all about her. Every worry, every hurt and pain.

I reached out, took a new path through Lord

Jesus' compassion. Passing on a very important

message, that she's loved from Heaven above.

He may seem farther away but she has a ever

loving Heavenly Father. I pray the holy spirit

stirs and she comes along to church. My Lord

and God I truly know love, sweet Jesus tears

upon my cheeks.
