The Path

Oh, long ago secluded path
On through the green wood ambled

Winding, winding evermore
   Through brush and forest bramble

By stream and silent meadow
   Its onward course did wind

Forward, forward deep
   This path of no mankind

ah, solitude! just oneself and a 'path of no mankind' - such wandering can be errily illuminating. I don't get to do this as much as I would like, but the times I have remain etched in my psyche, helping to sustain me. Don't get me wrong; I like people too.

A mysterious path to ramble..where no mankind has wandered. I like this...open to the readers thoughts and interpretations.
