The Painter

Does not paint any picture
of things that exist not
in reality or imagination
paintings are images of self,
how one sees the world
perhaps also what is unseen
but only dreamed about
passes through the brush

Rock painting Africans of ancient
painted themselves and their world
Leonardo da Vinci painted his feelings
feelings and beauties of Renaissance
of created creatures he experienced

None has painted creatures
that live in extra-space
in their comfortable weddings
