The Paint Movers Haiku

cracking and peeling

the skin of cool walls crawling

                                             chameleons sigh

An ageless haiku here Maureen. Weird I randomly picked this one to read. I was just thinking of growing older adaptability. Being the human chameleon we all want to be, I think. At least I do. I always think visually and I can surely see your imagery in this poem Maureen. (It also reminds me of living in Hawaii as a kid and loving to hear and see geckos in our house; while watching my Mum panicking lol.) Always thanks for the poetry Maureen.

Shoot the chameleons!, no, that's just what I did when living in Florida when they wanted to live in my home. Anyhow, I enjoyed this very much! All the best ... CayCay

I love picturing the texture of the walls, cracking and peeling as the chameleon crawls across... and the sigh was a lovely touch! Beautifully penned, my friend! ;)
