The Pain I'M In
This loneliness is breaking me,
this crushing, suffocating feeling of being alone.
It's getting harder and harder,
as I try to pretend nothing's wrong.
But then...i am so alone...
fighting my demons.
No one notices,
no one cares.
No one sees the pain i'm in.
The things I wish I could say
are nearly bursting inside.
Yet, I can talk to no one.
no one to lend an ear, to understand.
Understand the pain I'm in
The moist tears on my cheek
glisten, and soon dry off on their own...
Unnoticed...
