The Pain

The pain is slashing thru my heart,
cutting my veins,
and dripping blood down my spine.
My cry is getting louder;
piercing the ears of the dead,
as it entices the inner body soul
to drop out.
My eyes show the agony
of the tears I shed,
and the lurid personality
decimated my smile away.
The sanctuary of happiness
was locked in our love;
The impulse of the emotions
ambled thru our affection;
and the devotion for one another
lingered in our minds;
Until you drifted abroad,
and tore my treasure of tenderness away.
