The Pages In My Book Are Void

The pages in my book are void,
Of the past and present,
As I ink them in the blood of my future accomplishments.
For the past will always be the past
And the present will become the past,
But the future is something to look forward to, for I determine how mines will be shaped.

Thank you for sharing your poetry Guy-Adler. Poets here offer such diverse writings and to me it is a pleasure to read each and everyone. I will not be here at the Soup to read from Friday through Monday. I hope you will find mountains of inspiration during that time. I look forward to reading when I return. Have a great weekend. Love, Carol

Interesting thoughts that you have penned..Yes, we do have some control over our future, we can make plan, but then sometimes the unexpected enters the scene..Enjoyed reading of your work..Sara
