The Page Turner In the Shade

illuminating the whodunnit
with an old timey lantern -
     her Nancy Drew silhouette
            prim and proper.

this giant suspenser -
        susurrus of stars in her ebony eyes.

     it’s momentous the aha moment -
the page turner in the shade.
