The Outsiders

In a world that rushes, we step back, disengaging from the flow to observe, to reflect, often choosing not to engage, but to understand. We, the outsiders, interestingly disinterested, bring a different lens, a quiet strength, contributing in ways unseen, yet profoundly felt. For the world needs us, those who walk alone, to bridge the gaps, to offer new perspectives, to remind the world of the beauty in stepping back.

Your poetry reflects silence and solitary places—great depth of thought.

Daniel, yes and at times only poetry saves us from the world’s distractions. I reflect: Dig deeper into the earth of the soul.

An excellent poem Don , sadly there are many outsiders who step back and disengage , it's as relevant on here as it is elsewhere, if you're kept outside it's easier to control and manipulate others an Erasmus quote springs to mind. Imagine a waste of human flesh , that's some statement, we are products of our environment , and we deal with things in our own way, rightly or wrongly we shouldn't be judged .I have so much to say on this piece but the walls have eyes , Excellent write . Interesting poetic perspective Don. Some would argue differently, that those who disengage and isolate themselves are useless and a waste of human flesh. These accusers are also the ones swallowing antacids and Tylenol every day

Tom, thanks. Different strokes, as they say. Many poets are outsiders.
